The name speaks for itself!

For those who haven't heard about the recent trip to Bunyip SP, please refer to this thread https://www.offroadsubarus.com/showthread.php?t=3582

So basically we need to hurry back and give Gentle Annie a good hard nailing before before she closes up for the year...

All horrible innuendo aside, I'm keen to go back and give Gentle Annie Tk a go as soon as possible, and before the seasonal track closures which usually kick in around Queen's day weekend, ie the 9th of June.

I am actually proposing possibly the weekend after this coming weekend, which I think is the 11th and 12th of May. Leaning towards the Sunday.

And yes Nachaluva, I'll lead this one if you like :rotfl: Happy to do the initial nailing.

The weekend after will be a no go for me, but the Saturday is sounding promising.

Is that the Gentle Annie Track that runs off Walkers Logging rd?
If so us Queenslanders will be there in a little over a week Tuesday 15th if all goes well:ebiggrin:
I have got this track on the itinerary. Looks like fun, We might plant the Subaru 4wd Club of Queensland flag on the top to say we made it.:monkeydance:

Hey Taza

Thats just stupid to even try that in a Subaru, even a stock 'real 4WD' is just stupid :iconwink:

Funny that. You echo my thoughts exactly.

Seems that those people were having "fun" destroying their valuable vehicles ... A bit pointless, IMNSHO.
But whatever rocks their boat/s

Yes it did look a little muddy in parts & e weeeeeee bit slippery too :raspberry:

Regards
Mr Turbo

Well its possible that complete nailage of Gentle Annie may be a stretch, but in any case I'm still completely up for doing this and at least completing the rock section that Nachaluva had a shot at last week. There are plenty of other tracks to explore in the area as well, and we can always give the dreaded Phasmid Tk a shot.

Always remember Matt, that discretion is usually the better part of valour ...

I have considerable respect for those Bunyip SP tracks after my experience earlier this year. The Phasmid Track was real white knuckle stuff IMO.

One does not need to travel to the remote bush to get into very serious trouble - just head for Bunyip SP ... :rotfl: :lildevil:.

I'm willing to give alot of things a try, even if it means I might get a few scrapes or scratches but thats just insane.
I wouldn't even consider it! :raspberry:

looks like fun, but i think i would only do it on my motorbike....

The other weekend, even the motor bikes were having trouble on Tea Tree Track!

I'm out for then next few weekends. :puke:

Started to remove the front bumper to get a better look at the radiator. It has a small leak, not sure if it is the radiator, or the water pump. I can see it on the ground dripping from the sump guard. Need to find the source.

Beigewagon.

Im up for it but I reckon we come in from the other end so if it does get a bit much we can just turn around. If you want to go back up the steps we can always do that once we've made it down and just turn around up the top.

Yep sure are...

Hope its not too serious...

I might actually need to give it a miss for Saturday, it's going to be too hard to organise too soon... Which pretty much leaves me unavailable until after the track is closed. Unless anyone miraculously has any Wednesdays off, cos I don't work Wednesdays.

I like miracles...Im keen to head up there, esp in a small group as we'll be able to move faster. And I'm free on Wednesday

Well that is most miraculous! Are you regularly free on Wednesdays? Because the following Wednesday would be far better.
