had a bad rod bearing, destroyed the crank..
got another engine from the same model but automatic, so i had to use the original wiring harness.
the car wont fire, got spark, got fuel press, and delivery, and timing is dead on.
any ideas?
ive been leaning toward the ecm which is the M4.

Does the engine actually turn over? If so, try replacing sensors from the old engine with the new, starting with crank and cam.

What on earth happened to them? It seems extraordinary that both cam and crank gears would both be damaged. No wonder the sensors weren't working

cam/crank sens

well the sensors were fine actually, it was the crank gear and the cam sprocket lol the new engine was from an automatic, different sprockets...
who knew lol
i am having some other issues though, i have that posted too as "trouble code help" maybe youll have an idea if ya wanna check it out.
thanks, shane.

Yes, what I meant by the sensors not working is that they rely on the cam and crank gears to be ok, or they won't work. Will look at the other thread, but without knowing the codes it might be hard
