Thanks! glad you like it.

Not much point in just showing them to myself i guess, if other people like it then why not share it with them :)

Good luck!!!

I've got to reflect what Scooby2 is saying up there, been keeping up with your FB page, very well done. Really enjoy seeing your finds.

It was cold at first but you soon warm up working in this harsh environment. I will post some pics of the day and my finds later, i am one sore puppy today having put 7.5 hrs into some real heart breaker county:

Pictures from the Goldfields 7th July 2013: The amazing thing about metal detecting is i get to wander around in the bush, combine my love of photography, off road driving, and camping, where i can sit around a fire at night and play some guitar.

Looking across the gully we have to cross to get to a largely unknown town that existed back then. The area we are in was worked by the Cornish Miners and many signs of their work is still intact today.

My04tone, sounds like you had a grand trip. Looking forward to some more pics. It amazes me the remoteness (relatively speaking when you think that people and equipment used to get around by horse transport) what they achieved and the places they achieved it.

Best regards,

Best regards,

Alot of these spots are still very remote and your relying on leg work to get in. I found a place yesterday where they had made a road using volcanic rock to sure up the edges so the wagons wouldnt have fallen off down into the gully.

I am cross posting a little here so some of this stuff may turn up on my Metal detecting site and face book etc.

Pictures from the Goldfields 7th July 2013: Working across the flat amongst the thick salt bush, my hunting partner can just be seen at about 8 o'clock in the picture, so very easy to get lost in here, and hes only a few meters away.
