Adelaide to Wilsons Prom. March 2017

The wife and myself will be doing a road trip from Adelaide, back home to Hobart, via Wilsons Prom this time next year.

We have a family wedding to attend in McLaren Vale So we'll just take the Highway from the boat until we hit North Adelaide for a few days of pre-wedding partying.
We'll spend a week or so around the Vale area before heading off and hugging the coast all the way home.

My question to those in the know is, what are the must-see/ must-do places inland between the coast and the Highway.

The Great Ocean Road full length & the Blue Lakes at Mt Gambier just to name a couple down south. On the way there you can go more north and do the Grampians, Pink Lakes and the Murtoa Stick Shed.

Fully agree with Great Ocean Road and Blue Lake (that we had been few months ago), Blue Lake was a surprise when we stopped over in Mount Gamblier.
