I'm having trouble with my 2002 Forester S. After putting on a Anderson Design & Fabrication 2" lift and King Springs my rear right CV axle popped out of the diff. While out of the diff it would make noise and stop the noise by putting it back in. I put on a new Trakmotive (SB9043XTT) extended travel/extreme articulation CV and now the noise is present with spline inserted and the boot is mangled after a trip around the parking lot.

Does anyone know what is happening? And how to remedy the situation?

well with any lift ... your wheels and axles goes inside .. not outside so they cannot just go off ... with all lift they would be pressed even more into diffs . so thats wierd. and 2'' its like nothing ... it doesnt even make any difference there ... so that was other problem you having there then....
or if you put that lift kit wrong or smt. and foresters has it much easier with lift kits then legacys/outbacks
and dont use any aftermarket axles rly ... just try to use oems as much as you can ... aftermarkets will just go bad fast with lifts...

I agree - I don't know what is going on there as 2" lift is usually no problem at all.

Maybe someone put axles there from other model so they where too short.. because axles are diff lenght from diff years and models. I know i used shorter axles myself. Maybe someone bought lets say used axles but they didint checked year and model so they got shorter ones...
I had rear axle dissconecting after i removed lift and drove i forgot i left shorter axles and they came off...

I approve what scalman writes, and the length of the axles is different rear left and rear right by approximately 1 cm
