CB antenna mounting

I'm fitting an 76mm ECB nudge bar on my new Forester but have been advised that mounting the GME CB antenna on the bar will interfere with the electronic safety stuff. Where is the best place mount the antenna please? Thanks. Biko

G'day @Biko Does your new Forester have Eyesight? If not I would think there is no problem mounting the antenna on the bar.

I’m about to mount an antenna on a Z bracket on the LHS guard of a SG foz. Only eye sight is with the driver and any passengers

You could mount it on the roof on one of the rear corners. I’ve done this on my L series and I love it. But it doesn’t like underground car parks... I have to take the aerial off before entering them.
