Only south Morocco, twice. I went to Algeria and other west african countries (Mali, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Togo, Niger and Tunisia) in a Mercedes G as a teen for 3 months.

Man, I love to play on the carbonate sand dunes in Africa and the Middle East! Maybe if there is a Subaru rental that they allow to go off-road I would do such.
