stilsons long awaited HID projector headlight retrofit.

Well it's been a long time coming but my retrofit is done and my lights are back in the car.

I fitted FXR 3.0 projectors with Phillips 85122+ globes and morimoto 3Five ballasts.

Here's the concept shot:

Baking the lights open:

Headlights during trial fitting: (before dropping chrome insert on ground and braking)

Respraying inserts after gluing them back together:

Headlights reassembled:

Super custom waterproof seals:

Resprayed the bull bar last night so should be dry enough to fit tonight.

Much as I might hate HID lights, I appreciate the effort and skill you have used to get this done. Congrats.

Looks good mate, I stopped coming around awhile ago to help as all we did was drink piss and get nothing done :lol:

Will have to see it this weekend! I'm keen to go on Sunday and bring my sh*tbox along :iconwink: Just gotta sort out the cam timing issue... Beej and Davo are keen too

I'm pretty keen for a nighttime offroad mission now.
