Anyone do any bushwalking in the Alpine National Park? I'm thinking about doing something like this in the coming summer and wonder what is needed/involved. I'd need to start with...say a 5 day fairly easy walk.
Where do you leave your car, what to take, is there places to stay for a night etc, etc,

Hey silver, thought i'd resurrect an older post. I've been trying some day walks over the last month or so and enjoying it.

I found this site has some info about hiking and what to take https://www.bushwalking.org.au/equip.html

I'd imagine parks would have some info as well, there's marked walks in some of the more popular parks that you can register for so parks knows your out hiking and for how long.

I think i have visited that one. I've still been doing some walks but i'm a bit lazy really. Summer is coming....maybe a few could get together in the alpine park somewhere for a bit of laxing..maybe a beer or two...nice easy weekend or something. I hate winter....32 every day for me.
